If you require any help setting up your item or are experiencing difficulty with your item then do not hesitate to email us at enquiries@pvrempire.co.uk You must also supply your for digit order number and with a short description of the problem you are having. We have industry experienced technical persons available to help. Please note that due to the technical nature of some of the quires we receive it is not always possible to respond immediately. We aim towards responding to all such queries within 48 working hours.

'No fault - No quibble' returns within 7 days
If you change your mind about your purchase for whatever reason, you may return the item, unused, in its original condition along with full packaging and proof of purchase within 7 days of delivery for exchange or a refund.

STEP 1: You must first email enquiries@pvrempire.co.uk so we can log a return. Your email must confirm that you wish to return an item for a refund. We would respond via email if necessary.

STEP 2: Label the parcel without damaging the packaging or box. Please remember to ask for a Proof of Postage certificate. This is for your own security and insurance against items lost in transit.

Please remember to ask for a Proof of Postage certificate from the Post Office or from your chosen courier when returning goods, as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit without it. If you are returning a non-faulty item, then we will refund you the total amount paid minus postage charges incurred for the item sent. The postal cost included in the sale is either £7.99 for parcels over 1kg in weight and £3.99 for items under 1kg in weight. This is not refundable.

STEP 3: If you require items in exchange, please include a note with your returned item detailing the product you would like to exchange for.

Return of faulty products after more than 7 days

All Pvrempire.co.uk products carry a twelve month 'Return to Base' warranty (excluding consumable products e.g. batteries, tapes, ink cartridges, etc). Once your product is more that 7 days old but within the 12 month warranty we will either repair or replace it. Return to Base means buyer is responsibly for returning the item.
All of our products have a 12 month warranty period unless otherwise stated in the description. Please note that some products are guaranteed by us and some have a Manufacturers Guarantee. That is the only difference! Either way your purchase is guaranteed for the period stated within the advert.

We will Endeavour to repair or exchange the item for you, however if we do not have the same product in stock then we will offer you a replacement product of equivalent value or a credit note for the value of the goods. After the Initial 7 days, only goods (and no refund) can be claimed from our shop for exchange of faulty items within the guarantee period (Graded Items).

STEP 1: You must email us at enquiries@pvrempire.co.uk and we will confirm. Enclose a note with RETURN as the subject and a reason for return in the main email, as well as name, address and order id number. Please provide a full written reason for the return. This makes it easier to confirm any claim.

STEP 2: Please remember to ask for a Proof of Postage certificate from the Post Office or your chosen courier when returning goods, as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit without it.

This does not apply:

To faults caused by accident or neglect or misuse if you return the product to us without any type of 'proof of purchase'. Order number is your proof of Purchase.

All products are described as "Boxed/Graded" have been either factory conditioned and or are fully electronically tested by a leading either the Manufacturers or one of their Suppliers.

Pvrempire must be notified of the faulty product prior to it being returned to Pvrempire. The cost of returning the product will be borne by the customer.

The warranty does not cover wear & tear, accidental or willful damage. Consumables, eg. ink cartridges, handset batteries, tapes are not covered by the warranty after a period of 28 days from the date of delivery.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

If no fault is found then the product(s) will be returned and a charge of £11.75 (inc VAT) per product, plus carriage costs will be made to cover technical inspection costs.

Please make sure parcels are adequately protected for transportation as we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods in transit being sent to us by a third party. Please also remember to ask for a Proof of Postage certificate from the Post Office or your chosen courier when returning goods. This is for your own security and insurance against items lost in transit. We can not accept responsibility for any product(s) lost in transit if you return them without a Proof of Posting certificate. Please do not send any returns to any other address other than the returns address as shown above. Only returns sent to the correct address will be processed.

Pvrempire is an internet based company and will only accept returns through the post/courier.

THIS GUARANTEE IS IN ADDITION TO AND DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS.

Your statutory rights as a consumer which are protected by Consumer regulations including the following:

Our Liability

If you are a Consumer, nothing in the Contract shall limit or exclude our liability for breach of any term implied by statute. If you are not a Consumer:

These Terms and Conditions set out the full extent of our obligations and liabilities in respect of the supply of the Products (and performance of telephone support and guarantee Services) and performance of the Services;

There are no warranties, conditions or other terms that are binding on us except as expressly stated in the Contract; and any warranty, condition or other term concerning the Products or Services which might otherwise be implied into or incorporated in the Contract by statute, common law or otherwise (including without limitation any implied term as to quality, fitness for purpose, reasonable care and skill) is hereby expressly excluded. In particular, pvrempire.co.uk will not be responsible for ensuring that the Products are suitable for your purposes.

Nothing in the Contract shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud.

We will not be liable under the Contract for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of contracts, loss of data or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind howsoever arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of Contract or otherwise.

Our maximum aggregate liability under the Contract whether in Contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to us in respect of the Products and/or Services in question.

Circumstances beyond our Reasonable Control

We will make every effort to perform our obligations under the Contract. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to perform if such delay or failure is caused by any circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In the event of a delay, we will perform our obligations as soon as reasonably possible.

Disagreements Governing Law and Jurisdiction We will try to solve any disagreements quickly and efficiently. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so within the UK and English law will apply.

General Neither our failure or your failure to enforce any term of the Contract constitutes a waiver of such term. Such failure shall in no way affect the right later to enforce such term.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of the Contract shall not adversely affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Defined Terms
In these Terms and Conditions:
ACCESSORIES - means any ancillary product such as a disk or a scart-lead;
Authorised Service Provider - means a service provider authorised by us to provide services in connection with a guarantee;
pvrempire.co.uk - means our build-to-order website for Products for customers in the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man;
Contract - means these Terms and Conditions together with your Order Confirmation;
Consumer - means a customer who purchases Products otherwise than in the course of a business;
Export Laws - means all laws, regulations and orders of the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom applicable to the export, re-export, transfer or resale of Products;
Hardware - means any product which is not Software, Services or Accessories;
Invoice - means the invoice issued by us to you for the price of the Products;
Order - means an order placed by you in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
Order Confirmation - means the order confirmation issued by us to you indicating acceptance of your Order;
Order Form - means the electronic order form on the pvrempire.co.uk website;
Order Number - means the order number issued by us to you;
Working Day - means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday in the UK.
